Charred tea table with YAKISUGI technique preserving and pronouncing all the natural beauty of this piece of timber.

This tea table was treated with Yakisugi charring technique (also known as Shou Sugi Ban). This piece is made from a big and uneven chunk of european walnut. The Yakisugi technique helped to pronounce all the natural splits and 30 years old saw marks giving this piece a beautiful Wabi Sabi aesthetics.
